All the fun of the fair.

Geez - where does the time go? I am due a catch up. I have some new products to share and some upcoming plans. I STILL have to share the gorgeous hearts gift exchange and the gift I received from my partner! I  will hopefully post that later on today. I also need to post her gift to her!! Which I will also be doing today. 

In the meantime I wanted to share some pics from a craft fair I took part in this weekend. The fair was organised by Gill and Karen from crafters and makers as part of their Boutique chic events. This was the first time I have taken part in one of their events and I have another in less than 2 weeks time!

It wasn't my best fair for amount of sales as it was pretty quiet, weather wasn't great really and it is still early in the year. I did meet some lovely new people and I got lots of good feedback from the people who stopped by, so all in all I was a happy bunny.

My table looked pretty different to the other makers that were there, but I reckon is nice to have a bit of variety.

Well I guess it is official. Spring has definitely sprung.

 The clocks have shifted forward and the sunshine and flowers are starting to appear!

A first for Polka Dot Sweetheart!

At the weekend I took part in my first ever craft event. Luckily I had some first class peeps to keep me company!

The preparation was a lot more intense than I expected and I proclaimed (more than once and very loudly!) that I would never do another fair. But I feel much more positive now, I think I will try to join in with another local event nearer Christmas time. At the very least I have an idea of what sold so I can avoid the time consuming things that didn't sell.
I was really pleased with my little corner and it all pulled together and co-ordinated in the end, I think.

My little felt flowers and brooches were so much more popular than I expected. I am thrilled!! I think they are so cute!
